Davao City is one of the nicest place on Philippines. Davao City is also known as the largest city when it comes to land area. Davao city has a population of 1,530,365 (2011 census). Davao city has many tribes. The Davao City has also lots of festivities like Araw ng Dabaw and Kadayawan. 
Davao City is known to be the home of Philippines Eagles. They have lots of fruits and one of the famous is the Durian which is the King of Fruits. The latest news right now is that the Durian in Davao City is exported to other countries like Japan but the shipment is highly costly. Davao also has its own natural minerals that is needed. When you arrive in the airport of Davao City you can really feel the warmth welcome because of the sing that was posted in there. It has also lots of beautiful beaches. Davao is one of fastest growing City in Philippines because of its costly living and the government who govern the people with dedication. Mayor Sara "Inday" Duterte is the former mayor of Davao City. On March, Davao City celebrated the Araw ng Dabaw which is there will be a pageant in different tribes. Kadayawan is a big festival in Davao City that tourist will really spent there time watching the parades and floats that pleasure to there eyes and gives entertainment to them. It is also the season of Durian in August that the tourists will come and taste sweet flavor of it.The first inhabitants of Davao are the different Lumad groups.
At present time, every year, the Kadayawan Festival is celebrated as a way of thanks giving for the bountiful harvest. It
is also a way to honor the tribes of Davao. Unfortunately, for whatever
reasons some of the tribes are not in the list at all. The Mandaya and
Mansaka tribes are now regarded as inhabitants of Davao Oriental and
Davao del Norte only. The recognition of the tribes of Davao today is
based on the organized ethnic groups now residing in davao city. A
deputy mayor is appointed for each organized group. Since the Mandayas
and Mansakas are apparently not that organized in Davao City they are
not represented in the Hiyas ng Kadayawan pageant at all. The tribes of
Davao now include tribes which are not original Davaoeños like the
Maranao, Tausug, and Maguindanao. Ironically, the two tribes that has
"MADAYAW" word in their dialect are regarded as not one of the tribes of
Davao. Davao City has lots of hidden paradise that people must visit and come. There are islands that is nice.
